ARNP at UF Health Burn Center
The UF Health Burn Center treats people with burn injuries, severe skin disorders, difficult or chronic wound problems and those requiring assistance following complex corrective or reconstructive surgeries. The UF Health Burn Center offers a full spectrum of care from outpatient service to the most advanced level of inpatient critical care medicine for infants and adults. The UF Health Burn Center has been practicing a multidisciplinary approach since it opened in 1973. A team of plastic surgeons, general surgeons, nurses and social workers work together to provide outstanding care.
The ARNP Ensure the coordination and continuity of patient care for burn patients in order to maintain organized and efficient care; to provide support to staff and other health care professionals. The ARNP must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Current ARNP license in state of Florida; APN II – ARNP. MSN required in advanced practice nursing. Minimum of two years experience in nursing with relevant clinical experience in assigned patient population. Current ARNP license in state of Florida; APN II – ARNP.
