Does UF Health Shands accept speculative applications?

Unfortunately we do not accept speculative applications, as we have very specific recruitment needs. All of our current vacancies are posted on our Career site.

Alternatively, External Applicants can register for our free job alerts service by clicking on My Job Alerts after you have logged into the system, and our system will email you when a job you’re looking for is posted.

How do I apply to work at UF Health Shands?

I don’t have an email account. Where can I get one?

There are a number of email providers on the internet offering free online email accounts that you can use to make your application. The most common ones are Hotmail, Yahoo and Google Mail.

How do you use the personal information that I have provided?

The personal information you provide on the careers site is used solely for the purposes of recruitment and is not used for any marketing or passed to any third parties. Please see our section on Privacy if you require any further information.

I have applied for a job and need to edit my application and make changes.  How can I do this?

You can long in to career center and edit your applicant profile data.

Why haven’t I been offered an interview?

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to interview all applicants. Those applicants with the most relevant skills and experience will be contacted for an interview.

Why haven’t I heard about the outcome of my interview yet?

Careful and deliberate consideration is being undertaken, and a decision hasn’t been reached yet. You will be advised as soon as a hiring decision has been determined.
